Prenatal Education
Sleep Training I
Sleep Training II
Prenatal Education is designed to discuss infant sleep habits. In this session we will meet with expectant parents and talk about the topic of SLEEP. We will discuss the newborn, infant and toddler and how they learn their sleep habits. We will try to answer many of the questions of how to establish healthy sleep habits for your baby so that you and your baby can thrive. We will be available for follow up after your baby is born to see how everything is going. The goal of prenatal education is to hopefully avoid problem sleepers.
Sleep Training I
We will offer an assessment of your child's sleep habits and discuss some of the problems that your child may be having falling asleep and sleeping through the night. We will first discuss night time sleep and then move on to naps, both of which are important to a restful happy baby.
We will offer support with follow-up by phone or e-mail throughout the sleep training process. This period lasts about two weeks After that we are still available for optional individual sessions.
Sleep Training II
This consultation provides a more comprehensive assessment of your child's sleep habits and patterns. After the assessment a very specific individualized sleep plan will be developed that focuses on the child and the family's needs.
We will offer support and follow up by phone or e-mail as needed throughout the sleep training process. Beyond two weeks additional support is optional.
We are also available to speak to small groups of parents on various parenting topics. We can also do this in person, over the phone or skype.
